RUTHIN U-9s claimed a good 38-run win at Chirk.
The Vale youngsters batted first and scored 87, Rhys Jones top scoring with 28, Dyfan Humphreys (13), Dafydd Marshman (10) and Tom Mann (10) on his debut.
Chirk replied with 49, as Sion Foulkes took two wickets, while there was a wicket each for Rhys Jones, Dafydd Cale, Dafydd Marshman and Tom Mann.
Last Sunday, another excellent team performance saw Ruthin win by 15 runs at Brymbo.
Ruthin batted first and scored 50 (Dyfan Humphreys (11), Dafydd Marshman (8)).
Brymbo could only muster 35 in reply, thanks to a brilliant 4-1 from Dafydd Cale, while Dafydd Marshman, Dyfan Humphreys and Cai Emmett took a wicket apiece.
In their debut season Ruthin have now played six matches, winning their last 4 games in a row.
