SIR – The bus company First has recently reorganised bus services in Worcester without consulting anybody.
I live in Rowan Court sheltered accommodation.
However, I avoid using the 33 service and if possible use the 37 service instead.
I have got good reasons for this. I shall be 90 years of age next month. I suffer multiple chest and intestinal complaints. If I catch a 33 I have an uphill walk back to Rowan Court when the bus drops me off, whereas, if I get a 37 I have a downhill walk when I get off. Walking uphill gets me out of breath.
Now First has seen fit to place the pick-up area for 37 in a different part of the bus station and there are no seats nearby.
D E MARGRETT, Worcester.
