A PROLIFIC goalscorer has bolstered the ranks at Maes Tegid.

Bala Town are delighted to unveil Stephen Tames as their next signing of the summer transfer window.

Joining the club from Witton Albion, the 26-year-old centre forward is known for his recent prolific goalscoring record of 49 goals in 90 appearances for Albion.

Hailing from Liverpool, Tames started out at Prescot Cables and had various stints at Southport, Hyde, Vauxhall Motors, Warrington and Stalybridge Celtic, before joining Witton in October 2016.

In addition, they have made a case for the defence at Maes Tegid.

Centre half Anthony Miley has put pen to paper with the Lakesiders, joining from Gwynedd rivals Bangor City.

The 25-year-old needs no introduction to followers of the Welsh Premier League after spending five years with the Citizens and facing the Lakesiders on numerous occasions.

Before his spell at Nantporth, Miley previously appeared for Bootle, Conwy and Colwyn Bay, as well as representing Liverpool in the Dallas Cup.

He made 28 starts last season, scoring once and he has more than 130 appearances under his belt in the top flight of Welsh football.
