LLANFAIR 2
CLAWDDNEWYDD 3
ON-THE-UP Clawddnewydd have already improved on their tally of victories for the past two seasons.
Mark Lewis' side won one match in 2016 and 2017, but they made it two wins in a week on Thursday evening to preserve their spot at the head of the Summer League standings.
They had to do it the hard way to achieve victory in their derby clash at Llanfair.
Two goals from Dafydd Evans had Dylan Pugh's side in the box seat in the second half, but two goals in as many minutes swung things in Clawdd's favour.
The visitors' goals were netted by Tegid Williams, Carwyn Williams and Rhidian Edwards.
Cameron Miller and George Ryan made their Llanfair debuts, and both settled in well.
