LLANRHAEADR 5

LLANDYRNOG 0

LLANRHAEADR will be wishing that the Summer League season was only just getting underway.

Martin Baldry's charges are one of the form teams in the league at present and a five-star Thursday night showing ensured they ended Llandyrnog's hopes of claiming the championship this season.

Irresistible going forward, Llanrhaeadr made it back-to-back wins for the week with a comfortable 5-0 success.

This was their third win in the space of four matches and now they can start looking up the table.

A fifth victory of the summer means that Llanrhaeadr now trail sixth-placed Llangynhafal by five points - and they have two games in hand over Matin Dyer's team.

Wil Roberts has been in fantastic form in front of goal over the last couple of weeks and his brace versus Llandyrnog takes his tally for the campaign up to a magnificent seven goals.

Also on seven goals now is Tomos Hywel, who bagged one of the home side's goals, while the remaining efforts were supplied by Ian Evans and Arfon Davies.
