HENLLAN 12

CAERWYS 0

IT dozen get any better than this for the champions.

Nine different scorers made it a terrific night for Henllan, who saw off battling visitors Caerwys 12-0.

This triumph was a ninth of the season for Chris Brown's boys, who maintained their two points advantage over chasing Clawddnewydd as the business end of the season draws closer.

The 12 goals was Henllan's biggest haul in a game in close to two decades.

Back in 1999, they defeated local rivals Trefnant 13-1, with Jason Owens and Cled Pierce both grabbing hat-tricks.

There was just one hat-trick to celebrate on this occasion, with top scorer Sam Jones' treble taking his haul for the summer up to 18.

Dewi Jones has reached a dozen goals for the season on the back of his brace, while a magnificent seven players grabbed a goal apiece.

They were Bradley Jones, Morgan Jones, Ed Jones, Tom Jones, Elgan Roberts, Tom Sheridan and Steffan Tomos.
