A TRIP to Andorra or Kosovo could soon be in store for Bala Town.

Over the weekend, the Lakesiders' possible UEFA Europa League opponents were finalised.

A total of seven teams are in unseeded in the preliminary round, but as Colin Caton's charges can't draw fellow Welsh Premier League side Cefn Druids, there's a possible six teams to face.

These teams are Sant Julia (Andorra), KI Klaksvik (Faroe Islands), St Josephs (Gibraltar), Engordany (Andorra), Prishtina (Kosovo) and Tre Fiori (San Marino).

The draw for the preliminary round of the Europa League will be held next Tuesday, June 12.

The first leg will be played on Thursday, June 28, with the return encounter taking place the following Thursday, July 5.

Preparations are already underway for the forthcoming Europa League campaign.

After five weeks off, Bala Town players returned to training at Maes Tegid on Monday tonight.

Getting straight back into the swing of things, the players enjoyed - or endured - a session lasting for an hour-and-a-half.

Meanwhile, team boss Caton has continued to shape his squad for next season with the addition of Andrew Burns.

The 24-year-old right back joins the Lakesiders from Tamworth following his recent release from the club.

Burns, who was born in Ireland, started his career at Bolton Wanderers before being picked up by Bradford City in 2011.

A move to Dagenham and Redbridge followed in 2012, prior to signing for Barrow in 2013, where he was voted player of the season at Holker Street as part of their 2014/15 promotion winning side.

Former Wrexham boss Andy Morrell signed the defender in 2015 and Burns spent three season at Tamworth, making 136 appearances in total and being recognised as a fan favourite.
