LLANFAIR 2

HENLLAN 4

THURSDAY nights are being marked by Llanfair fightbacks.

Seven days after battling back from two goals down to win 3-2 at Rhewl, Dylan Pugh's in-form side were at it again against title-chasing Henllan.

The home side trailed Chris Brown's outfit 3-0 just after the interval, but two goals from Llyr Morris revamped Llanfair's hopes that they would be able to pick up something from the contest.

Crucially, it was Henllan who grabbed the sixth goal of the evening after plenty of Llanfair pressure to secure their 10th triumph of the campaign.

Goals from Sam Jones, Tom Jones, Dewi Jones and Nedw Clwyd made it seven wins on the bounce away from home for the defending champions.

Llanfair trailed 2-0 at the interval, but it could have been a different story had Llyr Morris' effort not struck the crossbar just prior to the half-time whistle.

After Henllan went 3-0 to the good, Morris dragged the hosts right back into it with two goals in as many minutes.

His second strike came from the penalty spot.
