TWO games in the space of three nights saw Denbigh Town Rhinos U-14s wrap up their remaining league fixtures.

They secured four points from these matches, securing a terrific top-three Rhyl and District Junior League finish.

Tuesday night's fixture witnessed a game of two halves.

Denbigh threw away a three-goal lead versus Kinmel Bay Fire and it eventually finished up in a 3-3 draw.

Zac Thomas registered his 40th goal of an incredible season after fine work from Geth Rogers and an assist from Bradley Roberts.

Jake Roberts then stunned the home team with a remarkable effort from near the halfway line.

Jake D Roberts then pounced on some defensive uncertainty to smash in Denbigh's third from a corner.

Some tired defending let in Kinmel Bay Fire for three goals in nine minutes.

There was a hint of offside for the equaliser and it could have been even worse for the Rhinos, as Jake Jones saved well and Gruff Mars-Jones had to clear off the line.

Thursday evening saw Denbigh defeat Prestatyn Rangers 5-0, with Jake Roberts grabbing four.

Bradley Roberts and Guto Owen combined to set up Roberts for the first after 12 minutes.

A sharp controlled finish put the Rhinos into a deserved lead.

Owen was at it again in the second half, with his cross being subtly flicked on by Roberts for Iwan Moores to fire home with aplomb.

Roberts scored again with instinctive finishing from a sharp turn.

This was then followed by the goal of the game.

Lewis Devine and Bradley Roberts combined to send Moores away and his cross was headed home by Roberts to complete his hat-trick.

It was the same combination for Denbigh's fifth late on.

Moores' cross was controlled and passed into the net for Roberts' fourth of the night and 26th of the season, complete another successful season from Denbigh.
