TRAILING by two goals at the break, Ruthin Town staged a magnificent second-half recovery to win at Cefn Mawr.

Substitute and man of the match Luke Humphries came on at half-time to change the course of the game, scoring two goals and causing problems for Cefn Mawr down the right.

Adam Harvey Davies opened the scoring for Ruthin within minutes of the restart.

Thomas 'TJ' Jones equalised with a fine header as Ruthin's confidence grew.

Luke Humphries scored with a powerful shot as he ran on to a ball from Connor Lloyd and he capped a fine display by scoring direct from a corner off the Cefn Mawr keeper.

Ruthin boss Darren Campbell said: "We were poor in the first 20 minutes and we deserved to be 2-0 down but Luke changed the game and we played much better in the second half."
