On Saturday, four of the club’s ladies travelled to Abersoch for the popular 10k, which includes sections along the beach and having to clear some of the groynes.

Sian Beck finished fourth in the L40 class with a time of 45.50, Jayne Penrhyn-Jones clocked 55.30, Helen Baxandall 67.47 and Gabby Waring 70.40.

In the 3k race, Sian's son Iestyn finished third in the U-11 class in 13.04.

Fellrunning regulars Tracy Colligan and Julie Logan made the long journey to Y Garn for the latest race in the Joe Brown Tuesday Night Series and they were left questioning themselves whether they had done the right thing.

Julie went off-course near the summit and tripped on the way down, injuring her ankle.

She managed to finish, but later found she had broken it.

The club’s annual relays will be held on June 13.
