MOTORISTS are experiencing congestion and long delays along the A483 following a serious incident which took place on May 7.
Junction 4 (Ruthin Road) on the A483 remains closed causing congestion at Junction 5 (Mold).
This is due to damaged traffic lights in the area after the incident.
Motorists and public transport are suffering delays of up to 20 minutes as a result.
The T3 bus has confirmed the delays are impacting services and all travellers need to allow extra time for their journey.
The incident occurred yesterday on Tuesday, May 7 at the slip joining the A525 Ruthin Road coming off the A483.
As a result of the two-vehicle crash, traffic lights in the area have been damaged and the northbound offslip has been closed, Traffic Wales has said.
Yesterday, a North Wales Police spokesperson also confirmed that the road had been closed due to a "concern for safety incident".
The traffic lights are currently no longer in operation.
Motorists should expect delays to continue for the time being in the area.
