THE CHESHIRE EAST BOROUGH COUNCIL (Restricted Byway No 1 in the Parish of Goostrey) Temporary Prohibition of Users
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (2) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit users on the following: That length of Restricted Byway No. 1 in the Parish of Goostrey commencing at OSGR SJ 7803 6993 and continuing in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 857m and then in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 558m to OSGR SJ 7852 7089.
This closure is necessary due to an unsafe bridge. The closure continues the restriction that came into force on 22 February 2021 and will continue in force for a period from that date for six months.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS -(Public Footpath No 11 in the Parish of Knutsford)
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on that length of Footpath No. 11 in the Parish of Knutsford which commences at O.S. Grid Reference SJ 7611 7959 and runs in a generally north, north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 980m to O.S. Grid Reference SJ 7680 8026.
The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger posed by works being undertaken to construct a residential development. The Order will come in to force on the 26 April 2021 and will continue in force for a period from that date for six months or until the works are complete. Alternative route - An alternative route will be provided by the developer, Bellway Homes, at all times whilst the footpath is closed.
