Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych yn bwriadu, ymhen dim llai na 7 diwrnod wedi 24 lonawr 2018, gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn gwahardd cerbydau rhag teithio tua'r gogledd ddwyrain ar nyd y rhannau o ffyrdd y cyfeirir atynt yn yr Atodlen isod.
Y rheswm dros gyfyngu traffig unffordd dros dro yw hwyluso gwaith ar y prif gyflenwad nwy gan Wales and West Utilities.
Bydd y ffyrdd eraill sydd ar gael i draffig sy'n teithio i gyfeiriad y gogledd ddwyrain wedi'u nodi yn yr Atodlen a bydd arwyddion priodol.
Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 12 Chwefror 2018 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith, pa un bynnag sydd gynnaraf. Disgwylir i'r gwaith bara tan tua 16 Mawrth 2018.

Mae traffig wedi ei wahardd rhag teithio i gyfeiriad y gogledd ddwyrain ar hyd y darnau o'r ffyrdd a nodir isod:-
1) Stryd y Farchnad, o'i chyffordd a Sgwar Sant Pedr i'w chyffordd a Ffordd wynnstay

2) Stryd y Farchnad, o'i chyffordd a Ffordd yr Ysgol i'w chyffordd a Ffordd Wynnstay Llwybrau eraifl:

1) ar hyd Ffordd Wynnstay, Stryd y Ffynnon a chylchfan Sgwar Sant Pedr

2) ar hyd yr A494, Ffordd yr Orsaf, Stryd y Ffynnon a chylchfan Sgwar Sant Pedr

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL MARKET STREET, RUTHIN NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ONE-WAY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 24th January 2018 to make an Order prohibiting vehicles from travelling in a north easterly direction along the lengths of road referred to in the Schedule below.
The reason for the restriction is to facilitate gas mains replacement works by Wales & West Utilities.
The alternative routes available for north east bound traffic will be as stated in the Schedule and will be signposted accordingly.
The Order comes into force on 12th February 2018 for an eighteen month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 16th March 2018.
Schedule
Lengths of road at Ruthin in the County of Denbigh
Traffic is prohibited from travelling in a north easterly direction along the lengths of roads specified below: -
1) Market Street from its junction with St. Peters Square to its junction with Wynnstay Road

2) Market Street from its junction with School Road to its junction with Wynnstay Road

Alternative routes:-
1) via Wynnstay Road, Well Street and St. Peters Square roundabout

2) via A494, Station Road, Well Street, and St. Peters Square roundabout
