A GIFTED artist making waves in the USA will share her tremendous skill with a Dyserth pub next month.

The Rockytop Music for All Club will welcome modern bluegrass band Blue Summit and their powerful vocalist and mandolinist AJ Lee to the Red Lion as part of the debut European tour on Tuesday, June 4 at 8pm.

Bluegrass fans can discover the talents of Lee, believed by many to be the next Rhonda Vincent or Dolly Parton and is now a maturing solo artist and leader of this outstanding band.

At just 20 years old AJ Lee has already released two solo albums in addition to Blue Summit’s recent debut recording Sweet Company in addition to performing with The Tuttles since the age of just 10.

For the Dyserth gig Lee will be joined by 22-year old flatpicking virtuoso guitarist Sullivan 'Sully' Tuttle -last seen in the UK alongside big sister Molly as part of the family band.

Known for his blazing guitar solos and rich baritone voice, Sully is another rising star of the acoustic Americana scene.

Completing this incredible line up are accomplished musicians, Jesse Fichman on guitar and Chad Bowen on bass.

Americana fans can also always join the Rockytop club for bluegrass, folk, an Irish picking and jam sessions at the pub on the third Friday every month at 8pm, with the next session on Friday, May 17.

Tickets are £12.50, available from the venue or in advance via rockytopbluegrass@outlook.com.
