IT is a case of the 'show must go on' for a Holyhead theatre group.

The Ucheldre Rep is presenting three performances of two one act plays. The comedies The Last Bread Pudding, by Nick Warburton, and Three Tables, by Dan Remmes, are at the Ucheldre Centre, Holyhead, on Thursday, May 23, Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25.

Lyn Cuffin, part of the Rep for many years, is debuting as the director, after stepping in to the role in place of the regular director, Tom Wallwork, who has been seriously ill.

Ucheldre's Jan Thomas, said: "Tom would have hated for the plays not go ahead, “the show must go on." The Rep, didn’t want to miss a chance to show what they are made of. They have been feature of Ucheldre events since1994. We all hope that Tom has a speedy recovery.

"The plays look great fun, but then the Rep always deliver lively and colourful performances."
