ALONG with its ongoing art exhibition, the Ucheldre Centre at Holyhead has something for everyone in its latest programme of entertainment.

Promising to be a summer treat, there are live broadcasts this coming week including the RSC’s Measure for Measure, at 7pm, tomorrow (Wednesday, July 31.)

When a young novice nun is compromised by a corrupt official, who offers to save her brother from execution in return for sex, she has no idea where to turn for help.

When she threatens to expose him, he tells her that no one would believe her.

Shakespeare wrote this play in the early 1600s, yet it remains astonishingly resonant today. Artistic Director, Gregory Doran, directs this new production.

Tickets are £10, £8, with concessions of £4 for children.

Another delight is also promised with a live broadcast of Glyndebourne’s The Magic Flute. It is broadcast at 5.30pm, on Sunday, August 4.

The Magic Flute or Die Zauberflöte, is Mozart's most magical comedy.

It returns to Glyndebourne for the first time in over a decade. This new production is by the renowned directing/design duo Barbe and Douce.

It promises to take a fresh and playful look at the opera’s troublesome gender politics.

Leading British bass Brindley Sherratt stars as Sarastro, alongside exciting young singers including Caroline Wettergreen, Sofia Fomina and Björn Bürger.

There is family film entertainment with a showing of Toy Story 4. There is a"relaxed screening" at 1pm, on Friday, August 2.

A relaxed screening means it has lower lighting lower volume, and offers higher tolerance.

It is designed for parents with small children and babies, so they feel they can come and see the film, without worrying about their babies' noise.

It is also open to anyone else who doesn’t mind that sort of distraction.

However, the more usual type of showing of the film is also on Friday, at 5.30pm, and 8pm, and on Sunday, at 3.30pm, ahead of the opera.

The story sees another humorous outing for the popular, animated Toy Story characters in a film that should keep all the family amused.

Two toys become separated from their owner while on a road trip. Toy Story 4 is rated (U) and is one hour 40 minutes long.

It is directed by Josh Cooley, and its stars the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Annie Potts, Christina Hendricks, and Keanu Reeves.

Or, for those youngsters who want to get to grips with something hands-on over the holidays artist Jacquie Myrtle is running a children’s fun art workshop next week (from August 5-9). Meanwhile, there's more fun to be had as the Saturday Art Club will also continue to run.

For those looking for somewhere to relax and unwind, in a pleasant environment, the Ucheldre has a delightful walled garden.

The fountain has been running, helping to create a cool atmosphere, and it is a lovely place to escape the recent hot weather.

On Tuesday, in the garden, there is a chance to sip refreshments and watch as the Wild Elements team help to create a kitchen garden.
