CHOIRS, vocalists and musicians look set to raise the roof and bring Christmas cheer to Bangor.

A festive concert is being held at Bangor Cathedral to showcase the region’s talent.

The musical celebration, on Thursday, December 5, is in aid of St David’s Hospice.

The evening of usic and song will feature hospice patron Elin Fflur and Côr y Brythoniad and Côr Seiriol.

Hosted by Dilwyn Morgan, the night will be a festive night of entertainment aimed to put audiences in the Christmas spirit.

Gwynedd Area Fundraiser, Keri McKie said: “The concert at the cathedral is the perfect way for the family to start the Christmas season.

“Why not join us for what promises to be a fantastic evening and support for a very worthwhile cause.

“At this special time of year, the generous support from the local community means so much to your local adult hospice.

“The money raised from this concert will allow us to continue to provide free care and support to patients living with advanced illnesses in North West Wales, together with their families and carers.”

The concert will start at 7pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm. Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £10 for children (under 16). To avoid disappointment book early. Tickets can be purchased online at: www.stdavidshospice.org.uk or over the phone by calling the fundraising office on 01492 873664.
