A NIGHT of mesmerising ocean adventure is set to sweep the shores of Llandudno.

The Ocean Film Festival World Tour will bring a brand-new collection o incredible cinema to Venue Cymru later this year.

Presented by the team behind the Banff Mountain Film Festival UK & Ireland Tour, this carefully curated selection of short films combines epic human endeavour and astounding marine life in a spectacular cinematic celebration of our oceans.

Witness incredible seafaring voyages, captivating footage from both above and below the surface, and the chance to dip your toes into the wonders of the big blue.

Films set to feature at the festival include Kayaking the Aleutians, which follows British explorers Justine Curgenven and Sarah Outen as they cross the chain of islands in Alaska. For 101 days they are at the mercy of one of the windiest, roughest environments on earth, with unknown currents, rough seas and hungry bears.

Another feature is The Accord, which traces he experience of Heiðar Logi Elíasson, from a tiny surfing community that inhabits an Icelandic island. The landscape is breathtaking but turbulent, symbolising Elíasson’s relationship to his surrounding environment and the harsh North Atlantic wind.

The festival takes place on November 19 at 7.30pm.
