BRITISH blues-rock prodigy John Fairhurst is gearing up to greet the new year head on as he blasts out of 2018 with a sixteen date tour this winter.

Kicking off in Patchwork Studios in Torpoint on October 27, Fairhurst will be making a pit-stop in Wrexham on Friday, November 16 when he plays Tŷ Pawb.

Wigan native Fairhurst has been honing his craft on the road combining his passions for people and music for years. The result is an awe-inspiring wall of sound rooted in his northern blues background with a gritty mournful deep-south attitude and a voice to carry it home.

As a duo, Fairhurst and Toby Murray draw freely from rock, blues and world music, with a penchant for slide guitar and through his distinctive deep growling voice, the songs, delivered in pure raconteur style, narrate the hardships of a life on the road and the bleakness of our times.

There’ll also be outstanding support from Delta Radio Band and Blind Wilkie McEnroe.

Standard Tickets cost £8 and there’s also a great Gig Package Deal Gig/Drink and a Curry from ‘Curry on the Go‘ for £15.

Doors open at 6.30pm.
