VOLUNTEERS are digging in to help brighten up Anglesey - in a roundabout way!
The planting of 2,800 daffodil bulbs to create a
colourful floral display will take place on junction 4 of the A55, near RAF Valley, on Saturday, January 20, with
traffic in the area reduced to one lane.
The Anglesey Foster Care Association and
Medrwn Môn community project, is funded via
a Gwirvol Anglesey Youth grant. Thanks also to
Awen Dodd, of Medrwn, Môn, Kerry Williams, of
DAWNUS, and Cartio Mon.
Irene Watson, secretary of AFCA, said: “A cheer
of support will be very welcome as drivers
go past, especially in appreciation of the youth
in our community’s dedication to this project,
but we do hope people will drive carefully.”
