A BRITISH Lion was in attendance to help a club celebrate a terrific campaign.

Dinbych players, coaches, team managers, committee members, sponsors and supporters all gathered at the Oriel House, in St Asaph, for an evening in the company of Grand Slam winner Lee Byrne.

The Ospreys and Wales full back gave those present an insight into his exhilarating playing career.

He made 92 appearances for the Ospreys, won 46 Welsh caps and was selected for the British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa in 2009.

Byrne gave an excellent overview of his playing experiences, followed by a question and answer session.

The former Ospreys, Clermont and Dragons full back was then on hand for the awards ceremony, presenting each award winner with a trophy.
