The man who died following the road traffic collision in Bylchau, Denbigh on Saturday has been named.

Thomas Patrick Reddock, known as Tommy, was 70-years-old and came from the Liverpool area.

His family issued a tribute to Mr Reddock yesterday.

The family said: “Tommy was a loving and caring father, brother, grandfather and a friend to many.

“Tommy, who was from the Kirkdale and Bootle areas, was well liked in the community and people knew him as a caring generous and outgoing man who would give up his free time to help others.

“Tommy worked for the local council up until retirement age, which led him back to his love of biking and a new lease of life.

“We would like to thank the ambulance, police and locals who helped at the scene, as we are very grateful for the care and support given to Tommy at that time.

“No words can describe how shocked and devastated we are, a big piece of our family is now gone and he will be missed forever by all.”

Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the collision which happened on the A543 involving a Honda CBR 600 motorcycle and a silver Peugeot 206 on the A543 in Bylchau, Denbigh.

Mr Reddock was pronounced dead at the scene.
