A DUAL carriageway will close for up to five nights for maintenance and repair work.

The A525 carriageway between the Talardy in St Asaph and KFC in Rhuddlan will close in both directions between 7pm and 6am from Monday, September 10 whilst Denbighshire county council carries out maintenance and repair works.

The road will be closed for up to five nights depending on how long the works take.

Motorists will be asked to use the A55 and the A547 - between Abergele and Rhuddlan - to travel between Rhuddlan and St Asaph.

A spokesperson for the council said: "The A525 dual carriageway in St Asaph between the Talardy and KFC roundabout will be closed in both directions between 7pm-6am from Monday, September 10 for up to five nights to safely facilitate maintenance and repair works to the carriageway.

"Diversions in place via the A55 and A547."
