AN APPEAL has been launched to find find the owner of 10 black sheep who are causing chaos with their antics.

It is understood that the sheep have made their way up to The Clwyd Gate Motel near Ruthin. Fears have been raised that they may venture onto the A494.

George Woolnough said: "They seem to have spent the night on our front grass. They are loose up the Clwyd Gate Motel and there is nothing to stop them getting onto the A494.

"Those sheep have really made a mess up here and done a lot of damage to the plants in front gardens belonging to residents. Also we now have to have our carpet cleaned due to sheep muck."

Another resident said the sheep had eaten her plants.

Mr Woolnough has since heard that the owner may be abroad.
