MAN has been arrested after failing a drugs test after a collision between a van and a caravan on the A55.
A road traffic collision closed the westbound carriageway between the Rhosneigr J5 and Llangefni J6, on Anglesey, happened today (Friday).
A police spokesman said: "At 12.33pm there was a collision between a van and a caravan westbound.
"There are no injuries. A male van driver failed roadside drugs test and has been arrested."
Traffic Cymru, North and Mid Wales, has reported that a lane remains closed whilst awaiting recovery and to remove debris.
North Wales Police had Tweeted: "We are currently dealing with an RTC which is causing some traffic disruption. Please plan your journey accordingly. Thank you."
A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance NHS Trust said: "A patient has been conveyed via a Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service vehicle."
The collision follows another incident which closed the eastbound carriage yesterday.
