The annual carol service hosted by Denbighshire County Council is being held in St Asaph early next month.
The service will be taking place on Tuesday, December 4 at 7pm at St Asaph Parish Church and will feature performances from Côr Cytgan Clwyd, soloist Owain John - a pupil at Ysgol Glan Clwyd, a brass ensemble from the Denbighshire Music Co-operative, a harpist and Côr Sain y Sir, which ismade up of Denbighshire County Council staff.
Collections made on the evening will be towards the Chairman’s Charity, namely St Kentigern Hospice.
Cllr Peter Scott, chairman of Denbighshire County Council, said: “The carol service is traditionally one of the earlier events in the festive calendar and has been established for many years.
"It’s a great opportunity to hear some local musical talents performing some Christmas favourites, old and new, as well as receiving the story of Christmas through festive readings.
“We look forward to starting the Christmas celebrations with people at the event”.
