POLICE have asked the public to keep their eyes peeled after an increase in quad bike thefts in southern Denbighshire.

North Wales Police has said there could be more than one individual “preying on innocent people’s property” in the Ruthin, Corwen and Llangollen area following a recent spate of quad bike thefts.

A police spokesperson said: “We have recently seen a rise in the theft of quad bikes particularly in Ruthin, Corwen & Llangollen areas.

“Someone(s) is very active in the area preying on innocent people's property.

“If you see a suspicious vehicle call it in immediately on 101.”
