A MAN has been "seriously injured" following a car fire in Ruthin this morning.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson has confirmed that the individual has been taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan following the incident which occured at around 7am.
Police, fire and ambulance crews are in attendance at the scene on St. Peter's Square and a portion of the road has been cordoned off.
The incident took place close to the town’s post office but traffic is continuing to flow around the area while investigations are carried out on the white vehicle.
