ROTARIANS, guides and helpers have taken a Santa sleigh around of the streets in Garth, Trevor, Froncysyllte and Llangollen to raise money for their organisations.
The ride, last week, raised £500 in public contributions from members of the public.
A spokesman for Llandudno Rotary Club said: “The public in the communities we visited were extremely generous, and the sum we raised will be shared equally between us and the Guides. We were welcomed everywhere.
“But money aside, it was the joy and excitement brought to the children, and the adults, which was the real driving force behind the exercise. It was such a success, we all had a lot of fun. It was a wonderful start to the Christmas season. We will repeat it next year.”
