Unattended cooking was the cause of a Llangollen house blaze, fire chiefs have said.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 8.27pm on Thursday reporting a fire at an address in Trem-y-Gwernant.
Two fire crews from Llangollen attended the scene and used a pair of breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera and a hose reel jet to tackle the blaze.
A spokesman for the fire service said 30 per cent smoke damage was caused to the kitchen of the property.
Firefighters concluded the incident had been cased by cooking which had been left unattended. Nobody wad injured, the spokesman added.
