THE body of a young woman has been found at an address near Bala.
Officers were called to a property in Llangower, Gwynedd, in the early hours of Tuesday, January 1.
The discovery was made at about 5.30am this morning.
Temporary Superintendent Neil Harrison, of North Wales Police said: “Our thoughts remain with the woman’s family and friends at this difficult time.
“A young man is currently helping us with our enquiries; however a forensic post mortem examination is scheduled to take place tomorrow to determine the precise cause of death and the Coroner has been informed.”
The property has been sealed off to allow forensic experts to examine the scene.
Inquiries are ongoing and an investigation has been launched.
The woman’s next of kin have been informed.
