A STORE that supports 25 jobs in Ruthin is set to receive a £1million makeover.
Co-op in Ruthin will become one of the retailer’s first stores in Wales to be improved under its national refurbishment programme.
The work will start on January 14 at the near 8,000 sq. ft. building, which will remain open throughout the refurbishment.
The work is expected to conclude on March 21.
Store manager Chris Mottershead said: "We're very pleased about the new investment in Ruthin.
"This will be a fantastic refurbishment that is well needed."
A Co-op spokesperson added: “We are confident that the store will have a great new look and enable us to better serve our community and offer the products and service that our members and customers want, need, and care about locally.”
