THEY'RE certainly a clever bunch in the locality.
Clwyd Young Farmers held their annual quiz earlier this month at the Denbigh Rugby Club.
The quizmaster was Erfyl Jones, from Denbigh.
While this is more of a social event, there is rivalry between the clubs who participate.
In a closely-fought contest this year, two clubs shared the winning shield.
They are Maelor and Cilcain.
Heidi Curtis, Hattie Noble, Michael Thomas and Heather Davies formed the Maelor team, with the Cilcain quartet being made up of Sara Williams, Dave Stoner, Dafydd Williams and Yasmin Armstrong.
Runners-up Betws yn Rhos were just one point further back.
