The case against an 83-year-old alleged 999 pest was adjourned at a special court at Llandudno today SAT – after he said he’d lost his hearing aid.
"I can’t hear a thing,” he claimed.
Raymond Owen, a retired railway electrician, was accused of making unnecessary calls to the Welsh Ambulance Service on three days this week.
Angharad Mullarkey, prosecuting, said he had complained of back pain or having collapsed and on one occasion was taken to A and E.
Owen, of Bryn Llwyd, Bangor, who uses a walking frame, was remanded in custody until Monday.
