WEDNESDAY morning bin collections have been postponed after wintry conditions affected roads across Denbighshire.
Due to the wintry conditions Denbighshire County Council (DCC) has said its bin collection vehicles are unable to carry out collections in a number of areas on Wednesday, January 23.
This includes:
- Llanbedr Dyffryn Clwyd
- Loggerheads
- Bontuchel
- Cyffylliog
- Clocaenog
- Derwen
- Clawdd Newydd
- Graig Fechan
- Pwll Glas
- Llanelidan
- Pentre-Celyn
- Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd
Residents have been asked to leave their bins out for collection later today or tomorrow.
A DCC spokesperson said: "The council will try its best to collect from all areas where possible. If it is unable to collect today, the council asks residents to leave their bins out for collection tomorrow."
Meanwhile, two of the county’s schools, Ysgol Tremeirchion, Tremeirchion, and Ysgol Betws Gwerfil Goch, Corwen, have been closed.
