IT turned out to be another busy weekend for Ruthin Rugby Club's minis and juniors.

The Blues' U-12s lost by three-tries-to-nil against a strong Caernarfon side.

Ruthin U-12s are excited about their end-of-season tour to South Wales this year and they are very grateful to the town's Tesco store for allowing them to bag pack on Saturday, February 2.

Ruthin U-7s enjoyed a great game at Colwyn Bay and the weather held out for the players.

The Blues had three great games and the Ruthin players did a great job in showing great passing, ball skills, support play, communication and looking for gaps.

The defence was also on point and Ruthin triumphed 14-9.

Ruthin U-8s fielded three teams and enjoyed a morning of running rugby against Caernarfon at Cae Ddol.

Each team produced several great passages of play where the ball was passed through the hands.

With this team approach, Ruthin were able to overcome Caernarfon 7-5 in tries.

Turning to the U-10s and an exciting game was witnessed versus Caernarfon, with Ruthin winning 33-14.

There wer some excellent team tries and every player gave 100 per cent.

Also hosting Caernarfon were Ruthin U-11s, who showed strong defensive play and great teamwork to win 48-12.
