A VALE of Clwyd youngster gave Wales Schoolboys the lead in a key international contest this afternoon.
Ysgol Brynhyfryd pupil Charlie Caton, 16, is a member of the Wales Schoolboys U-18s at the 2019 Roma Caput Mundi tournament.
Wales are currently playing Greece and Caton, the son of Bala Town boss Colin, handed Wales the lead.
The Welsh side currently lead 4-0.
Wales' previous two matches in the tournament ended 0-0.
In their first match on Monday, Wales defeated Moldova on penalties.
A shootout was also required to decide Tuesday's match, with hosts Italy winning on spotkicks.
Caton was a substitute for the opening two matches, and he came off the bench versus Italy.
