A Llandudno resident is hoping to raise more than £1000 for an important charity.
Peter Rourke is set to hold a Horse Race fundraiser event on Friday night raising funds for the RNLI.
The event will take place at the Trinity Community Centre, on Trinity Avenue, from 7.30pm until 10.30pm.
Tickets will be £1 if you buy before the event or £2 on the night.
There will be 10 races with attendees able to place £1 bets, with no limit on how many.
More than £1500 worth of prizes donated from businesses in the area and a raffle will be held with a chance to win one. Raffle tickets will be available for £1 for five.
Food will also be available on the night in the form of chilli con-carne at £2 a bowl.
So far more than £400 have been raised through the raffle alone and Mr Rourke said he was hoping to get that up to £1000 following the event.
