A road in Llanrhaeadr was closed today due to a burst water main.

Welsh Water were called to the burst water main on the road from Llanrhaeadr Crossroads To Groesffordd Crossroads in Denbigh this morning which had been caused by a third party. 

The damage has since been repaired and the road re-opened. 

A Welsh Water spokesperson said: “We were made aware of damage, caused by a third party, to our network on the road from Llanrhaeadr Crossroads To Groesffordd Crossroads in Denbigh.

"We dispatched a team to repair the damage this morning and completed the repair early this afternoon.

“In order to ensure the safety of the team doing the work, and of other motorists, we had to close the road while we carried out this work.

"We are working to ensure the road is reopened as usual tomorrow morning.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused to road users and thank everyone for their patience while we carried out this work.”
