DRIVERS are being instructed to avoid a stretch of the A498 following a serious collision.
The road has been closed between the junction with A4086 at Pen y Gwryd to Nant Gwynant as a result of the incident on Sunday afternoon.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police has asked motorists to avoid the area.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact police by calling 101 and quoting reference number X029416.
