A WOMAN involved in a two-vehicle crash in Gwynedd over the weekend was taken to hospital via air ambulance.
The A494 between Pensarn Road and Station Road in Bala was closed for more than two hours after the crash on Sunday morning.
Two ambulances and the air ambulance rushed to the scene after being alerted at around 10:36am, the Wales Ambulance Service confirmed.
The woman was flown to Wrexham Maelor Hospital but the extent of her injuries have not been disclosed.
North Wales Police advised motorists to avoid the area between Bala and Llanfor while emergency services dealt with the incident. North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were also called to the scene but were not needed.
