IT promises to be a busy spring at a Vale of Clwyd venue.

Music and comedy will be features at Denbigh's Theatr Twm o'r Nant over the coming months.

On Saturday, March 30, Tyhai will be supplying the entertainment at the theatre.

Tyhai will perform an exciting Indo-Celtic collaboration between Indian vocalist Rajesh David and Pete Stacey, on saxophone and flute.

Also performing will be guitar virtuoso Dylan Fowler and the trio will take the audience on a musical adventure that travels from the airs and dance melodies of Wales and the Celtic world, to the ragas and rhythms of India.

Each of the musicians is a Welsh speaker, with varying degrees of fluency.

This is part of the tour launching Tyhai's new CD.

Tickets are priced at £10.

Doors will open at 7pm and the concert will start at 7.30pm.

This event is supported by Night Out.

Between May 16 and 18, the Phoenix Players will be presenting Worth a Fortune, a comedy by Frances A Lewis.

Setting out to assure his aunt that he is leading a sober and respectable life to convince her that she should leave him a considerable fortune in her will, Timothy weaves a web of deceit involving family, the maid and the vicar.

Ex-wife Lavinia’s presence doesn’t help either.

Tickets are priced at £7, with concessions £5.

Doors will be opened at 7pm on each of the three nights, with performances getting underway at 7.30pm.
