SPEEDY Gwynedd pupils have been celebrating a magnificent seven.
After their success through Meirionnydd, it became time for the talented athletics team of Ysgol Bro Tegid, in Bala, to travel to Bangor.
There, they competed against bigger schools in the Gwynedd Sportshall competition.
Annually, this competition creates an exciting and electric atmosphere, with the standards increasing every year.
This year, three records were broken by the team from Bro Tegid, in two relays and the speed bounce.
The attitude of the nine pupils was incredible to see and all of them showed great concentration and a special desire to do their best.
Ysgol Bro Tegid claimed the victory and with Ysgol O M Edwards, from Llanuwchllyn, finishing second, there is obviously plenty of athletic talent in Penllyn!
This is the last time that Ysgol Bro Tegid will compete in this competition as a school and this was what was the perfect ending.
The school won this hard-fought competition for the seventh year in a row.
