NUFFIELD Southampton Theatres’ have a host of family events planned for the Easter holidays from a sing-a-long of The Greatest Showman, the King & I from the London Palladium and other children’s films, a free Bear hunt trail and drop in craft activities at the city venue.

Enjoy two special sing-a-long screenings of The Greatest Showman, the bold and original musical that celebrates the birth of show business and the rise of P T Barnum, the inventor of circus. Complete with lyrics on screen, and a Ring Master compere, on Saturday April 13, audiences are encouraged to dress in fancy dress and relive the magic of the songs A Million Dreams, Rewrite the Stars, and the Oscar nominated and Golden Globe winning hit This Is Me!

Recorded from the London Palladium, the multi-award winning and critically acclaimed production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King And I will be screened on Sunday April 14. Reprising her Tony Award-winning role, Kelli O’Hara takes to the stage alongside Tony and Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe in this classic musical with great numbers such as Shall We Dance? and I Whistle A Happy Tune.

Two recent family favourites are also screened; Mary Poppins Returns on Friday April 12 and Paddington 2 on Monday and Tuesday April 15 and 16.

Families can also take part in free activities including Hunt the Bear trail around NST City, Southampton’s recently opened new theatre and the John Hansard Gallery from April 8 to 18.
