Corwen Day Nursery
CORWEN Day Nursery has a regular calendar of events for children aged from three to 12 every holiday - and the last February half term was no exception.
This year, an average of 16 children took part in lots of activities ranging from forest school sessions to an afternoon tea party, where the children enjoyed the delicious treats that they baked themselves in the morning.
The children were fortunate to have a forest school experience on two of the days and the rain didn’t dampen the mood on the second day.
Corwen Day Nursery which makes regular visits to the residential care home Cysgod Y Gaer and to mark St David’s Day this year, they took some daffodils for the residents on the Friday morning and the children and residents sang traditional Welsh songs and coloured in together.
The calendar of events has already been drawn up by the children for the Easter holidays and includes four forest school days along with a visit from a circus entertainer and a tour of Rhug.
The traditional Easter hat competition and Easter Egg hunt will of course be included in the activity-packed fortnight.
