A PRIMARY school in St Asaph is celebrating its best ever Urdd results.
Ysgol Esgob Morgan won all the competitions it entered at the Urdd Denbighshire finals held in Ruthin on Saturday, March 30. They were also awarded the 'Tlws Ysgolion Ail Laith' for the best second language Welsh school.
The school went on to further success on Tuesday, April 2 evening by winning the county disco dancing and Dawnsio Gwerin competitions.
A quarter of the school will now head to Cardiff to represent Denbighshire at the National Eisteddfod in August.
Headteacher Tim Redgrave said: “I am extremely proud of the talented young people we have in our school. Their hard work and perseverance has seen us enjoy levels of success I have not seen in the school before.
"I would like to extend my thanks to them and all the staff involved who happily give up their time to ensure our children get as many opportunities as possible."
