A FINAL fling is in store for talented young Lakesiders.
There was a very important fixture at Maes Tegid at lunchtime on Sunday.
Bala Town U-14's welcomed The New Saints for the northern final of the Academy Super Six competition.
Dylan Owen gave the Lakesiders the lead, before The New Saints brought it back to 1-1 before the interval.
Turning to the second half and Bala were able to take control with two quickfire goals.
Euan Rowlandson and Theo Knight both found the target to make it 3-1 and therefore securing Town's spot in the national final.
They await the winners of the Penybont v Pontardawe clash in the southern final.
The national final will take place at Newtown on Monday, May 6, kicking-off at 1pm.
