LULU is giving Take That fans something else to 'shout' about as she is set to join them on stage in Southampton as part of their 30th anniversary tour this summer.

The Greatest Hits Tour 2019 from the world's biggest 'man band' is due at St Mary's Stadium, home of the Saints, for two nights over the Whitsun bank holiday weekend.

And when the tour got under way in Sheffield, fans were treated to a surprise appearance from the Scottish singer songwriter who has regularly appeared on stage with Take That over the years.

She will now be special guest of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald for the remainder of their live tour, where they are also joined by 80s comeback king Rick Astley as support.

Lulu will appear on stage each night to perform their number one song Relight My Fire, which she featured on in 1993.

She is also expected to belt out a funked up version of her biggest hit Shout, the Isley Brothers cover which made her an overnight star aged 15.

Take That will be performing all their much loved greatest hits live during the tour, which follows the release of Odyssey, a re-imagined greatest hits album that takes the listener on a journey through the incredible musical history of one of the UK’s most successful bands of all time.

The album, which was released to acclaim in November, features 27 tracks spanning three decades of the band’s history from their 1992 debut Take That and Party, right up to the present day.

The tour is expected to be peppered with soundbites from their life, the story of five Northern teenage lads, who went on to become one of the biggest boy bands of all time, before splitting up and reforming again nine years later with one of the most sensational music comebacks ever seen.

Tickets for the dates, on Saturday May 25 and Sunday May 26, are sold out.
