A 37-year-old Bangor man appearing in court for the fourth time for breaching a restraining order has been sent to the crown court for sentence, in custody.
Anthony David Owen of Ffordd Tegai pleaded guilty to breaking the order not to contact Jodi Owen, his ex-partner.
Gerallt Evans, prosecuting at a weekend court at Llandudno, said Owen also had a stalking conviction as well as two common assaults against her in 2017, for which he’d been jailed for 18 weeks.
Last Wednesday afternoon he’d appeared in the back garden of her home in Maesgeirchen and had banged on the kitchen window.
“She says she’s frightened of the defendant,” declared Mr Evans.
Defence solicitor Bethan Williams said: “He will say there’s no evidence of specific harm or distress.”
Court chairman David Davies told Owen, a self-employed plasterer: “The offence of breaching the restraining order is so serious we are committing you to the crown court. That’s because our sentencing options are insufficient.” He will appear at Caernarfon crown court on May 10.
